We are so privileged to call Nate and Cara friends of ours. When they asked us to shoot their Wedding, we (a little too eagerly) accepted. They choose Sacred Sands in Joshua Tree as their venue and they could not have made a better choice. Their ceremony was filled with moments that had one photographer (who will remain nameless) tearing up while looking through the lens (Gregory). Afternoon in the desert made way for the cool of the evening. We ate our fair share of tacos and listened to their family tell Nate and Cara's love story. We watched them drive away in Gumby (their Westfalia) and for that evening, everything seemed perfect. These are a few of our favorite photos:
Before their first dance Cara grabbed the microphone and turned towards Nate. She wanted to give Nate something that he never would expect. She said that over the course of their relationship, Nate has encouraged her to dig deeper with her creativity. She commented on how far fetched the idea of her writing a song was. Cara wrote Nate a song and his sister preformed it beautifully. His reaction got all of us teary-eyed.
